IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
CHANGE IN FEES, EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2023
Due to the rising costs of doing business, it is necessary for us to make some minor adjustments in the fees and charges for the services provided to our members. The following changes will become effective as of March 1, 2023.
New Fee:
There will be a charge of $1.00 per check issued to or on behalf of all members. This change is a direct result of new check cashing fees charged by our local bank.
Increased Fees:
- Loan application Fee will increase to $35 for individual Applications and $55 for Joint Applications
- Wire Transfer Fee will increase to $40 for all outgoing wire transfers
Christiansted Federal Credit Union continues to provide account services to our members with no monthly service charges or maintenance fees, and while we have absorbed the increased costs over the years, it has become necessary to make these adjustments to ensure that we can continue to deliver the high level of service you expect and deserve from us.
As an alternative to withdrawal by check, members are encouraged to utilize the CFCU Debit Mastercard which is available for free to all members. The Debit Mastercard provides the added convenience of access to your available funds at all times, whether on island or overseas, and may be used for most day-to-day shopping purposes in place of cash. We urge all members to request and take advantage of this free service.
