The St. Croix Federal Credit Union was organized as the first Federal Credit Union on the island of St. Croix established in 1952. On June 13, 1985 the St. Croix Federal Credit Union name was changed to Christiansted Federal Credit Union. During its years of service the credit union has grown to over twenty-seven million dollar (27,000,000 +) credit union. We currently offer share accounts, share certificates, Christmas club, vacation club, personal and auto loans.
The Christiansted Federal Credit Union is a member owned, non-profit financial institution that reinvests its members’ money and provides a full range of personal affordable financial services to our community. Our goal is to stimulate community development by providing a safe, sound, democratic alternative to traditional banking.
A credit union operates under a unique philosophy of “people helping people.” Credit Unions exist solely to serve their member-owners, and provide favorable savings rates and low-interest loan rates.
